Hi everyone, I was inspired this past week by a picture I found of a store front that looks like it was just a room box. I personally don't like room boxes since usually the 3 sides are plain and only the front is completed. I also have been wanting to scale down my house sizes and try to create a room box of my own version but I want all 4 sides completed. I fell all the sides should look nice. This is my smallest base yet which is only 10 inches wide by 10 inches deep. I am trying to learn to create smaller versions of my work for people who don't have a lot of room in their houses. So this Is my version of the store front I create from the inspiration picture. But I also decided why build 1 when I can build 2 of them. They are sort of the mirror opposite of each other with just a few slight differences so they don't exactly match. I hope you all enjoy and are inspired to create. I just wanted to get these last 3 houses I create over the past 2 weeks posted before I head on vacation to Idaho. Have a wonderful month everyone. Stan

ReplyDeleteSo much fun, Stan! It's simply amazing how you keep coming up with new ways to make each one of your builds so full of character and charm!

ReplyDeleteI watched your video at the miniature show. I am so very impressed with your work and your wonderfully fun attitude. You are an inspiration to me. I am interested in the cardboard houses, and want to try it if I can find a tutorial. Thank you for showing all of your lovelies. Connie
ReplyDeleteHello Stan, I also found out about you through the Ruby Lane video of the
ReplyDeleteminiature show. I think youre absolutely amazing, what an inspiration you are!I just finished binge reading your blog and you mentioned having someone film you in process of building, which I think is a fantastic idea. As a crafter myself I understand how hard it is to stop to do anything else whilst working, plus your hands are usually covered in glue or paint! I have SO many questions which a video would answer. But I do want to ask what kind of paper clay do you use? I've never tried it so I'm obviously missing out! Anyway, I just want to say, you are the nicest, unassuming, most creative and truly inspirational crafter around. Please, please consider a YouTube channel. I think it would blow up and it could be your 3rd job... lol. (Or replace youre two currant ones) love from Canada!
Love, Love, Love!!!!!
