This is what ive been working on for the past month. It still needs lots of things completed. I actually had fun working on this one, since it inspired me to build a green house, it also inspired me to start making Veggies, and Flower in pots for the green house. See below for my first attempt at making flowers and veggies in pots. I send some more pictures next weekend hopefully, when i have finished the interior.
I still need to finish the interior, lots left to do.
I forgot to take pictures of the work in progress on the green house. I did make it all out of balsa wood. Once i built the frame of green house i painted it, and then added windows and moss. I do want to try to make wood beams out of paperclay one day, since balsa wood can be so exspensive.
I just made a card board base to attatch the paperclay mix to, then i used a fork to make the roof tectured.
The roof was so thick with paper clay that it also took a week to dry. You live and you learn, next time ill cook this in the oven to speed up the process, since i get impatient to work on my projects.
I then added the moss around the house.
I then painted the stones. I need to take a class on how to paint, to get a better stone look. I made the door and the window out of balsa wood also.
Then i filled in the wood with the paper clay, and then carved the stones into the clay on both sides. This took almost 1 week to dry, i ended up putting it in the oven for about 5 hours on low to dry it faster at the end of the week so i could start building the house.
The beggining of the house, i did make out of balsa wood first. I think i stared at this square box for a week before i knew what i wanted to build.
More veggies i dont know what i made, just more of me picking items off of different fake plants around the house.
My pot of Roses in yellow, I also made a pot of Red roses but the picture didnt download.
Im not sure what type of veggies these are supposed to be, but i was pulling plastic pieces off of all the fake plants around the house, and i liked the way they looked. If you use your imagination i think they sort of look like mabey peppers or somethings. But they could be what ever someone wants them to be.
I did buy the miniature veggies and roses, but one day i want to teach myself how to make them. I know how to make a mold with the two clays you mix together and then you put around the item you want to make a mold of, but i dont what kind of easy liquid i can use to pour into molds that set up quick. I just have to find time to search e-bay or somewhere for molds for sale. I also want to learn how to mold items like this square pot, instead of me paying $2 a pot.
My miniature carrots.
I started with putting paperclay inside the pot, then i added glue to the top area, then dipped it into fine gravel-dirt and then added the flowers and leaves. That was the only way i could think of to arange the flowers and have time to work while the paperclay and the glue took time to dry.
I really like this small one, the base is smaller than a dime.
My very first attempt at making miniature flowers in pots for the new Gnome Green House.
Me invading the back living room with all my craft boxes, working on creating my new gnome home. I always have to be withing view of the TV, im addicted to movies.

I hope you all like what i was able to complete in the past couple of weekends. I made alot of progress this weekend. I finished all the stone walls and most of the decorations and all the electrical. I tryed video taping the house for you all, but it didnt turn out to good, when i have more time put a video of the house and me, once i get a good video and not so shy. I hope you all have a Wonderful Week! I cant wait for work to get over this week so i can finish working on this house.
I spent a couple of days just making the doors and the screen doors for the house. I think i like the shingles i made out of paper clay, i accidently put to much moss on the shingles, but i like them covered with all the moss. I spent Saturday night with a house full of people for our Saturday dinner party sitting on the couch surrounded by people while we watched movies and laughed, while i worked on the house, surrounded by boxes full of junk and miniatures while i built items and painted and added all the items to the interior.
I really love Christmas and the tree took many hours glueing all of the ornaments on. I still want to make some more boxes to put ornaments in and clean up the attic area more.
I had alot of fun making a couple of Christmas boxes of ornaments.
I thought the water wheel i found worked out great to put the house on top of.

I finally got started again on my gnome houses. This one i decided to incoorporate using more balsa wood, since i do love working with it. I dont like the price i have to pay for balsa wood, but this way i can make each window a certain size and get greative. The interior took a couple of weekend just to cut the decorative wood walls and wallpaper. I am planning to use paperclay to cover the front of the house with stones and the roof with shingles. I think i may do a christmas scene inside this one, im in the mood for the holidays. I found the base at the thrift store that is a water fall, which i thought might be cool so i cut it up to work my house onto it. So when its done the water pond will light up the base of the house and the water wheel will turn. My plan is to sit in my living room today watching movies and drinking coffee, and install all the electrical and lights.
I still need to make double front doors and screens, it would be cheaper to pre buy the doors, but i wanted a house with no pre built windows or doors.
I spent last night building the attic roof, while sitting on the living room floor, while watching movies with friends and their watchful eyes as i glued, cut and painted.
I cant wait to start building the interior and decorate it for Christmas.

New Kitchen Finally Finished
I spent all weekend working on completing the new kitchen. Almost 30 hours on my days off, tileing, grouting, cutting and installing crown molding, installing new light fixtures, and sweeping up a ton of white dust from cutting the tiles. I went thrift store shopping also and found more white dishes to decorate the kitchen, and made a quick flower arrangement for the center island. Now only a couple more finishing touches such as installing the new cream color electrical plugs on the walls. I have always liked very formal, cozzy, classic, kitchens, and love the early 1900 kitchens with the dishes around the kitchens. I think we pulled off some off the look, of some of my favorite kitchen designs. So now i can picture myself at the end of the counter by the sink working on a new Gnome home.
Now im going a vacation for a couple of weeks Rock Hunting in Idaho, for Fire Opal and Quarts Crystals. Then hopefully i will be rested up enough and start some new Gnomes Houses. I hope ya like my new kitchen which we designed and built ourselves, which the final cost for all new appliances, flooring which came to only about $10,000. I think we got a pretty exspensive look, that looks more like a $30,000 kitchen. Its not perfect but we had fun doing it, even though we spent every penny on it.
