Hi Everyone, I still haven't started to build a new miniature house yet but I am trying to inspire myself with trying to create my own unique miniature windows that I can re produce quickly and so my houses are more unique with the creation of a one of a kind window. I admit they are not perfect but I do not believe in perfection.. I like having defects and working with what I have on hand. I am still teaching myself how to mold items and then casting them to make the windows. I used items I found in my craft room such as pieces of cardboard, wood, plaster pieces and metal decorations and clay to create the windows and a door frame, Then I built a box around them and poured a mold mixture to create the mold for them. The current ones in the first picture I feel they look more Castle or Fantasy look. It is my goal that my houses are more unique by creating my own windows. I hope I inspire others and hope to get inspired to start creating more houses. Have a wonderful month everyone.

Christmas Pictures at Home 2018
Hi Everyone, I have been on a vacation from building miniature houses for over 4 months, in between the fall miniature show and our annual cruise vacation and Christmas decorating I haven't had a lot of time to work on creating houses. Plus I lost my inspiration to create. So I thought I would share some pictures of Christmas at our house, which is my favorite time of the year. I love to decorate for Christmas, which I have downsized the decorations over the years. I used to have a total of 9 trees throughout the house and 1 in every bedroom. But the older I get the less I am putting up. I get pretty tired hauling it all up from the basement crawl space. But I can usually get it all done in about 10 hours. First day I spent an hour bringing every box upstairs, then rest and then spend a couple of days putting things up for 3 or 4 hours a day till its all done. I have it down to a system to where I can take it all down and put it away and clean the house in about 3 1/2 hours. One day I do want to do a miniature version of my house at Christmas Time.
