Hi Everyone, I just finished my latest house made out of cardboard. I couldn't think of a unique name for it so I am calling it the Old Decrepit White House. I decided to take my time building it and only work on it for shorter amounts of time so it took me a month to complete versus around 14 days. I still think using cardboard as my main medium to create a house is still my favorite. I used the windows and domes I printed from my 3 D printers and I think they turned out nice. I do admit that painting is not one of my favorite things and most of the furniture in the house is 3D printed and it took 4 coats of paint and me trying my best to paint it to look a little more realistic than just plastic. This time I taught myself how to create the ivy growing up the sides of the house using twine and spray glue and sprinkling greenery on it. I hope you enjoy and it inspires you. Have a great month. Stan
I just love these, I can only imagine how long they take to do. It's just awesome!

This project is fantastic. You are, indeed, a rare talent. I can't believe what you are able to accomplish with cardboard. And your finishing touches are perfect for creating the "feel" you are going for. So inspiring! - Marilyn D.
ReplyDeleteYour latest build is inspirational! Apart from loving the architectural features of the exterior, I really like the modern/classic interior furnishings. It looks like a cozy place to live.
