Christmas Pictures at Home 2018

 Hi Everyone, I have been on a vacation from building miniature houses for over 4 months, in between the fall miniature show and our annual cruise vacation and Christmas decorating I haven't had a lot of time to work on creating houses. Plus I lost my inspiration to create. So I thought I would share some pictures of Christmas at our house, which is my favorite time of the year.  I love to decorate for Christmas, which I have downsized the decorations over the years.  I used to have a total of 9 trees throughout the house and 1 in every bedroom.  But the older I get the less I am putting up.  I get pretty tired hauling it all up from the basement crawl space.  But I can usually get it all done in about 10 hours. First day I spent an hour bringing every box upstairs, then rest and then spend a couple of days putting things up for 3 or 4 hours a day till its all done. I have it down to a system to where I can take it all down and put it away and clean the house in about 3 1/2 hours.  One day I do want to do a miniature version of my house at Christmas Time.

    Yours is the Most Christmas-y house I think I have had the pleasure to see! ;D Reminds me of the Holiday covers of House Beautiful.
    I love the red and white colour scheme you'v used as it compliments your blue walls and the ginger jars Perfectly! and when a home looks a lovely as yours does at Christmas, I can see why you would spend the time to set up a system to make it happen year after year, but oh my.... what a lot of work!
    Even so, your Christmas Tree in the living room is a Knock Out!!!
